Updates

2025-07-17

Lots of updates after the recent major intro of the Items section. I'll keep the Items section intro below available for a little while longer. But I wanted to add here that the site continues to be updated as feedback is sent to us.

 Happy Summer!

2025-07-06

Welcome to the New and Improved Items Section!

Here’s a summary of everything that's new:

A Revamped Search Experience

  • New Advanced Search: The main "Items" link now takes you to a dedicated Advanced Search page. You can filter by a range of criteria, including item class, stats, and abilities.
  • Smarter Search Logic:
    • Improved Name Matching: Search results prioritize exact and close matches, making it much easier to find items with short or specific names (e.g., "x4 viral blade" will show "X1-R4 Viral Force-Blades").
    • Acronym Search: Some items can be searched by common familiar acronyms, such as acdc, pdkp, hhab, ellts, dchest..
  • UI Enhancements: Active search fields are highlighted, so you can see your applied filters at a glance.

Dynamic & Interactive Item Pages

  • Live Quality (QL) Interpolation:
    • A "Change QL" input box appears on interpolation items, allowing you to enter a custom QL and see the stats update.
    • The input box shows the item's valid QL range.
  • Weapon-Specific Tools:
    • An Aggression/Defense slider has been added for weapons, with logic updated to match in-game calculations.
    • You can set a preference to display the slider as -100% to 100% or 0% to 100%.
    • A reverse search has been added to calculate the weapon skill required to meet instant-cast or 1/1 attack times.
  • More Details & Data:
    • Weapon pages show Special Attack Caps.
    • Nano pages link directly to their respective Nano Crystal.
    • A link to GMI pricing has been added for tradable items.

Comments

  • Comments Section:
    • You can add comments, reply to others, and upvote helpful contributions in a Reddit-style thread.
    • Get notifications for new replies to your comments and see new, unread comments highlighted.
    • Comments are shared between Nano formulas and their corresponding Crystals.

The Perk Planner

  • Build and visualize your perk setup for all perk lines (SL and AI).
  • View a searchable table of all modifiers provided by your chosen perks.
  • See soft caps calculated based on your character's level.
  • See which perk action belongs to which perk.

General UI & Quality-of-Life Improvements

  • Main Menu Redesign: The top menu has been updated to keep the search bar permanently visible, with the main navigation links moved to the left for better accessibility.
  • Dark Mode: Many elements, especially the new comments section, have been fixed to display correctly in dark mode.

Thank you for the Support!

  • Thank you to those of you who joined me early to get this party started. I don't want to call anyone out that doesn't want to be named, but I know all of you
  • Huge thanks to @Noky for pushing me to continue to work on it

Some functionality requires you to be logged in, especially in the Comments section

Most commonly the most sought after are the top and bottom QL of Nippy. 140 for ease of getting them on and 160 for doing the most amount of damage once you have leveled up some!

Steaming Hot Cup of Enhanced Coffee
Steaming Hot Cup of Enhanced Coffee

While most people drink this for the +1% crit chance, a lesser known trick is that the coffee can actually bump up your aggdef value to more than 100%! Meaning if you stay at full agg and drink the coffee, you will actually shave off an additional 0.18s off both your weapon attack and recharge times! This has been tested and verified in-game, and also appears in your stats menu if you do a /tell nadybot !stats. You'll see your aggdef setting actually bumped up to 118 points at full agg with this buff on

Strangely enough, while having 118 aggdef points speeds up your weapon attack/recharge times by 0.18s compared to 100 aggdef points, it does not actually help you cast nanos 0.18s faster

Do you know if there's a specific QL that is the most sought after? Or is it kind of, just whichever you can get?

Programmed Photon Particle Emitter (Shape Soft Armor)
Programmed Photon Particle Emitter (Shape Soft Armor)

For those interested in farming this: get a L78 or L84 character, and roll level 58 team missions with 6 people in your team (they need to be in teaming range; the more people in your team, the more loot the boss drops). At these levels, you're guaranteed a L60 final boss that has a 3-5% chance of dropping a shape soft/hard PPE.

I usually roll from Last Ditch in Stret West Bank (mission terminals right beside the whompah), and roll to right outside Foremans since I can whompah to Borealis and use the Foremans recapture beacon to teleport there immediately

The Repressor
The Repressor

I keep forgetting to try this item out on my latest Agent alt! Thank you for the good breakdown of how to use it!

The Repressor
The Repressor

To use this, you need to not have any FP running (true agent form), you need to be fighting a target, and you must have something attacking you. When you use it, you force everything attacking you to drop combat.

When used properly, it's possible for an agent to aimed shot the same mob twice midfight even when the agent is holding aggro. Using The Repressor on an attacking mob will temporarily stop the mob from attacking you, letting you go back into sneak or use a recharger if you're quick enough. This also works in BS/towers/city PvP (but not in duels!). Using The Repressor on a player stops his auto attack against you, which then allows you to re-enter sneak. For paid agents, the proper combo is to true prof -> repressor -> sneak/recharge -> continue the fight

Hacked Boosted-Graft: Feet of Stone
Hacked Boosted-Graft: Feet of Stone

One of the two root grafts that can be used by any profession, the other root graft being Lesser Paralyze with Indecision. It can be bought from the Den Smuggler Broker in Smuggler's Den.

Some tips:

  • Root grafts can be used even if you're in nano recharge, which lets you root your opponent even if you're running or mid-cast
  • You will always succeed in bypassing your opponent's nano resist using a root graft. A raging enforcer, a MA affected by upon a wave of summer, or a NR8 perked toon has a 0% chance to resist this graft
  • The graft is however still affected by innate root resist, like Boon of the Wanderer, or boss immunities

Trimmer - Divert Energy to Avoidance
Trimmer - Divert Energy to Avoidance

A not-so-well-known trick involving this item involves breaking calms using it. When your pet is calmed, you can use a low QL version of this trimmer on your pet to hit it for some damage, breaking the calm. It locks your EE skill for 5 minutes and so it can't be used repeatedly though. But it's still useful at lower levels, or if you're locked out of using the pet attention line nanos
